Teaching Career:
I have my Masters and Bachelors in Education and have been teaching for 20 years. I love teaching at the Fifth Grade Center! I have taught 5th grade for about 14 years and have also had experience in middle school and second grade.
Family:
I have been married to my husband, Cameron, for eighteen years. We met in college at the University of Central Arkansas. We have two sons and two daughters. They are (from left to right) Brooke (18), Quinn (13), Bennett (10), and Parker (16).
Special Interests and Hobbies:
I enjoy playing sports. I pretty much try any new sport I can. I love to snow board outside in the snow with my kids, play basketball, volleyball, soccer, and go for runs. I also enjoy watching most sports. My husband and I are huge Cardinal baseball fans. I love to keep score at each game. I enjoy the outdoors and taking walks with my family each day. Painting is another hobby of mine. Reading a good book, going out with friends, and shopping are also some of my special interests.
Fun Facts about Me:
I am from a family of 9. I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers, and I am right in the middle. I belonged to a sorority in college called Alpha Sigma Alpha. I played volleyball in college and volleyball, basketball, and soccer in high school. I have 17 nieces and nephews. My husband and I love the band OAR and have followed them to many states to see them. I am very competitive and love to compete in just about anything.
